DOGVILLE - Introduction

After this brief introduction about my point of view about Lars Von Trier, pass to the analysis of one of his films, Dogville, the first film in the trilogy "USA Land of Opportunities ", which in my opinion is a masterpiece of cinema. Not only the theatrical scenarios and actions of the characters, but also by the exemplary performance of Lars Von Trier. This is not a film that innovate through new technology, but it is still innovative capacity through the representative of the director, in other words, the mind of Lars Von Trier, in my opinion at its best.
Dogville is told in nine chapters and a prologue which is the presentation of the city and characters. That said, this movie divided into four parts. Characterize the first part of hope, the second of kindness, forgiveness and the third by a fourth imbalance. I characterize this way, the feeling felt by Grace for the remaining inhabitants in the course of the plot.
So step to the analysis of the first part, hope, which includes the prologue, the first, second and third act. Where Grace is hopeful of achieving a new world. Turning to the second part, goodness, which includes the fourth and fifth act. Where Grace with excessive kindness, comes to be naive. And then the third part, forgiveness, encompassing the sixth, seventh and eighth spot. Where forgiveness on the part of Grace's unfair, above all things to itself. Ending in the fourth part, which comprises only the ninth act, where the imbalance is so strong that the whole structure of faith on the part of Grace disappears, leaving a trail of blood in Dogville.
