John, a renowned American architect, is on holiday in Rome, where he lived during his youth. When walking through his old neighborhood, finds Jack, a young man whom John sees itself as was the same age. By tracking the passion that Jack is gaining by Monica, the stunning and seductive friend of his girlfriend Sally, John relives one of the most painful episodes of his romantic life. Meanwhile, former opera director Jerry flies to Rome with his wife Phyllis, to meet Michelangelo, the Italian boyfriend of Hayley, their daughter. Jerry is thrilled when he meets Giancarlo (played by the famous tenor Fabio Armiliato) Michelangelo's father, an undertaker by profession, hear and sing arias from La Scala worth while taking a shower. Convinced that a prodigious talent can not remain hidden, Jerry plans the opportunity to promote the opera singer Giancarlo, taking the opportunity to relaunch his own career. For its part, Leopoldo Pisanello is an extremely annoying and common man, who wakes up one morning transformed one of the most famous men of Italy, and with many questions for which no answer. Quickly finds himself stalked by paparazzi who follow her every move and question everything you do. While Leopold starts to get used to the seductions of the limelight, just by gradually realize that the price of fame. However, Antonio is a newcomer to Rome from the province hoping to impress his wealthy family by his new wife and adorable Milly and get more easily a job in the big city. Through humorous coincidences and misunderstandings, the couple eventually separated and Antonio is obliged to submit a stranger as his wife, Milly being courted by legendary film actor Luca Salta.
