DOGVILLE - Review Part 4 - Imbalance
4.1 - Ninth act - In which Dogville receives the long-awaited visit and the film ends.
It is this act that in fact all the action of faith on the part of Grace is broken. Dogville finally gets what he expected, but not everything is as expected inhabitants. Grace would not be a criminal or fugitive, this is only daughter of a gangster boss. The people only notice when you take the lead gangsters. When Grace's father comes to town, this is brought to him so that he can call arrogant, saying: "Violators can be killers and victims, in your opinion. I call them dogs. And if they lick their own vomit, only teach by the whip. "To which Grace responds:" The dogs only obey their nature, because we can not forgive? ". Here is shown the action of faith on the part of Grace, which always contains the hope that human beings change, the goodness not to judge and forgive him when he errs. In order to break this follow-up of faith, Grace's father tells him: "If you deserve to be punished for your mistakes, others also deserve it. It's only human. " Grace outraged by these allegations in its motion for leave to think of his father, returning with him and be his accomplice in a criminal gang, led by his father, and thus half the power. Looking Dogville see that this is hardly different in relation to its true home, and realizes all the defects of this village and its inhabitants come easily to a conclusion. Because if they all act like this, would not find a single excuse for their actions. It is here that realizes that the best course to take was to punish those humans for the good of the human being that they represent. So back to the car, joining his father and asks him if he could use his power as to what replies he does.
Meanwhile, Tom insists on talking to Grace, this is going to meet him and ask that you apologize for being so arrogant to the point to be used, but their illustration has surpassed all expectations and thus had revealed what is be human. Here the idea is very clear that this film rotates about an illustration by Tom and that this illustration is based on the discovery of the human being. Hearing this, Grace back to the car where the power is dedicated to him and she says to the gangsters burn the whole village, but with one small condition, before Vera kill, kill their children first and say that if she stops crying they also stop. Here the whole village is seen burning in the front row by Grace, which diverts the curtains of the car claiming to be an appropriate time.

The fact that it has given little indication that the gangsters, was a kind of revenge for their puppet parties. For her the dolls were the result of its established relationship with Dogville. Grace did not want to be more covered by curtains or see with their own eyes the human being to be destroyed, so the comparison to the lack of curtains in the film is highlighted here. After killing Tom Grace with their own hands, Moses hears barking, this in turn becomes real, while the narrator says that the response of this film is not in himself. I can only draw from this statement, which is not in himself, only you can find in us viewers and we are human beings. So the fact that the dog move from a mere drawing to a dog of flesh and blood, is an indication that the film has to go beyond the movie screen, even to the viewer and making him think about the whole concept of humanity.
