The central figure in the plot is the butchers, left the short film Carne also director Gaspar Ark. Played by Philippe Nahon excellent actor, this violent creature, petrified, is wandering through mazes full of obsessive repression, hatred against foreigners and homosexuals, with always the ubiquitous figure of the daughter he desires so sick. The film creates an atmosphere where the hermetic folly of increasing central character is always apparent, whether in photography or yellowish tones of the narration off. Obsession is narrated as a daily absurdity. A classic of modern cinema, poetry and full of fury.
